In line with the Government recommendations for "social distancing" we have cancelled our weekly playgroup until further notice.
We have also put off plans for our Easter Ribbon Parade and will hold the next Ribbon Parade later in the year when we deem it safe to do so.
We are currently awaiting advice from the NZ Business Office about how we can hold our AGM without making everyone gather in the same room. We are hoping to be able to conduct the meeting either by Skype or via email/snail mail, which is what many major corporations do when electing boards. We will let you know in due course.
In the meantime, please update your details via our online membership form so we have your current email address and can ensure you are included in any ballot we send out.
Hopefully, we'll be through all this soon and life can go back to normal. In the meantime, remember if you do have to self-isolate, to stock up on dog food as well as human food and stay in touch via our Facebook page if you need assistance with your dogs and can't leave the house. No guarantee another member can help, but we are a caring community and it is in times of trial that we come together to support each other. And our Chihuahuas:)
