Another DCC Dog earns her champion title
We are delighted to announce that another Dominion Chihuahua Club dog has earned their 8 Championship points and henceforth (Dogs NZ approval pending) shall be known as NZ CH Kitaco's Valkyrie Warrior.
Bred and owned by club President, Dr Tracey Tonkin BVSc, Kyrie is rather famous in NZ, having already featured on the cover of the Dog World Magazine as a puppy. Her story of being born dead and miraculously revived by Tracey touched people all over the world.
Despite her rough start, Kyrie started with a bang, taking a Baby Puppy in Group in her second show but retired from showing not long after for a few months while she went through her rather impressive "uglies", as she morphed from a little fluffy white cloud like her daddy and into her mother's daughter. She came back to the show ring in November and has earned her title in 3 short months against some stiff competition. Many of her CC wins were accompanied by a Best of Breed win as well, so she's well and truly earned her title.
Regulars at playgroup will know Kyrie as the happy, confident companion of #DontTouchMeTara.
Well done Kyrie!
